Who's who in the Fellowship
The Fellowship is organised into Regions, who elect their own Secretary, who are part of the National Committee. To hold it all together we also elect National Officers every two years. Former Chairmen also sit on the National Committee, so we can gain from their wisdom and experience (???)

Hi, I'm Tim Rice, and am now my second term as Chairman of the Fellowship of Christian Motorcyclists. There's still another year togo before my office is up for election, so you're stuck with me until then.
I first started riding back in 1976 when I aquired an old NSU Quickly moped. Things gradually moved on from there to more unusual machines such as an AJW Greyhound, and NVT Tracker and an old BSA C15. I moved to the dark side with a handful of Japanese bikes (interrupted when finances and a young family took control) until a work colleague suggested I try a Triumph. Having covered some 60,000 miles on a Trident 900, I sold that and am currently riding Trophy 900, which, because of it's age, was considered "dirty". I had it tested (and it passed with a couple of catalysists fitted to the exhausts) for use within ULEZ Zones around the country. And just to be awkward, I've had it rated for the French Zones as well!! The 900 is now used for blood deliveries and has passed 100,000 miles, as I was allowed to purchase a Triumph Trophy SE to "replace it" and use for the "fun rides".

I joined another FCM member in tackling some of the highest motorable roads in the world by riding in the Himalayas a few of years ago. On top of that, I keep my skills up to date by regular testing by RoSPA.
So you may see me buzzing around Kent or London on the (almost) trusty Triumph delivering blood and other gooey samples, or I may just turn up on a Regional run. Who knows?

National Secretary
I passed my motorcycle test in 1994 to prove a point. Since then I have owned and ridden 9 bikes, starting with a 125cc working up to a 650cc and back down to my current 500cc Honda. I have had Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki and Cagiva. I used to regularly commute into central London by bike (one day’s train fare would buy a week’s petrol) but since retirement the riding is purely leisure.
I have undertaken touring holidays learning early on how to travel light, riding my bike around various chunks of England, Wales, Scotland, Continental Europe and Ireland. When not riding I like walking and going to the theatre and cinema.
Baptised and Confirmed in the Anglican Church tradition I now worship at a local Methodist Church where I regularly make the tea among other tasks.
I am currently holding the role of National Secretary until someone better comes along.

Treasurer
Hello,
I'm Sally and I have just been brought back onto the National Committee to be the Treasurer. this has something to do with me being a Maths Teacher and also the Treasurer for my local choir (as well as being related to the current Chairman!!). For some reason both groups think I can count!

I ride around on a 1992 Kawasaki GT550 which still has low mileage (I need to get out on it more) and suits me (except when I drop it and need some help to pick it up).

Rider Information Officer
No longer part of the Kent Region (my wife and I have moved to Hereford) I am now part of the CotsWold and Chiltern Region. I put my hand up for this post - I would say it’s my natural charisma and good leadership that made me the obvious choice for this role, but really it's an excuse to read bike magazines and pass on any tip bits I find. All in the name of keeping the membership informed. In fact it’s part of my cunning plan, and stage one, in a scheme to achieve world domination. Slow progress I grant you, but all good things come to those who wait.
My love of bikes mut be genetic as now two of my sons are riding their own bikes and causing mahem around the country.
In the meantime this is me. I ride bikes and don’t much care what I ride. I seem to gravitate to BMW’s but at least I know how to fix them. My knees seem to have called time on sporty rides, so there goes my dream of riding an RC30 up Mount Everest. Still my trusty GS1150 keeps me going in some comfort.
So that’s me!
