Why not find out more about us by joining us on a ride?

Our Regions are well into their planned runs for this year. Have a look at our Events Diary and see if there is something happening near you (or where you might be in that month) and see if anything interests you.  As the weather changes, there are still opportunities to enjoy fellowship by sharing a lunch somewhere, even if you feel safer getting there by car (or just don't want to dry off all that chrome when you get back home).
Just contact the appropriate Regional Secretary and they can let you have the meeting point details and you can enjoy a ride with us (and to let them know to wait for you) You will be under no obligation to join (but you are very welcome to join us before, during or after the ride).
We have no restrictions about you joining any Region's run, even after you pay your Membership Subscription and are assigned to a Region - that's merely for administrative convienience - how can we befriend you and make sure you are included if we don't know who you are or where you live?  Some members have joined another Region's run because they were on their way home from a holiday on the opposite side of the country - so it made sense to say hello.
Regional Planning Meetings take place through February, so we should have some idea of what we are doing by March - look for the new programme then.
We continue to welcome new members across the country and we hope they (and you) are able to join us on one of our runs. As members join (and leave), Regions are reorganised, so something could be happening near you sooner than you think.
Most events are planned around a lunch together somewhere along the route, or at a meeting point if the members in that region are scattered, so there will be plenty of chances for fellowship on and off your bike. All are welcome to join us on any of our runs, just let us know you are coming us so we can wait for you. A word of caution though - you might get some dirt on your bike as we travel around!

About Membership

The Membership of Fellowship of Christian Motorcyclists is open to all motorcyclists, moped riders, pillion riders and sidecar users who pay an annual subscription and abide by the Fellowship's constitution. We are not linked to any particular Denomination, but we share a believe and trust in Jesus Christ and His work in saving us from our sins.

Please feel free to look at our Constitution if you wish to learn more about how we work. You may also wish to look at our Privacy Notice.

We are affiliated to the British Motorcycle Federation.

Where have we come from?

We can look back over nearly fifty years and see and thank the Lord for all He has done for us. We continue to trust Him for the years to come. We encourage former members (or their families) to get in touch and share memories of rides together. If you have memories and pictures to share, please get in touch with someone from the National Committee and we have built an additional page on this site to share them (photos can be scanned for you and returned).

Please watch this space for news of events for 2026 when we will be looking to celebrate 50 years as a Fellowship. In the words of our founder "not bad for something that was only expected to last for a few years!"

What does it cost?

We  have had to change our rates for 2026/27, as insurance and other costs rise. Those who would like to recieve a paper copy of TransMission will find the postage and preinting costs have also risen. Please check out the Membership Form for the current rates. All members are entitled to receive an electronic copy of the monthly magazine, or download a copy. What else can you get for around a pound a month? Or you can opt to pay extra and receive a paper copy of our monthly magazine TransMission.
